Midwest Property Tax is a privately owned Property Tax Management company headquartered in Columbus Ohio with a satellite office in Louisville, KY.

MWPT has been managing property tax matters throughout the United States with a primary focus on the Midwest/Great Lakes region. Our goal is to offer a highly professional yet very personal level of service through long-term working relationships with our clients.

We have worked with some clients for more than 40 continuous years providing excellent results with unmatched customer service. MWPT is responsible for managing annual property taxes in excess of $200,000,000 with assessments totaling over $7 billion. We achieve consistent results that keep our clients at the leading edge of an ever-competitive market.

Bill McVeigh, the company owner and founder, began his career in Texas. Eventually, he opened a regional office in Columbus, OH in 1991. Bill later branched out on his own, forming Midwest Property Tax in 1998. Starting with a small group of clients and properties, he has since grown MWPT to be one of the industry leaders. Bill has over 40 years of experience in the property tax field and has serviced properties throughout the United States.

Billy McVeigh joined the company in 2013 after graduating from The Ohio State University. As an active member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT), Billy achieved the professional designation of CMI in 2020. He has only compounded our servicing abilities with his keen insight and assessment appeal experience.

Together they both advocate for our client’s property assessment rights with honesty and integrity. This, along with the invaluable contributions from our supporting staff at MWPT, plays a key role in our ability to achieve over $6,000,000 of annual tax savings for our clients.
